5 lug rotors for SE spindles ?

Does anyone sell a replacement front rotor that is converted to 5 lug. This is for a GSL-SE front spindle.

Thanks in advance for your help.

The only option I know is to have rotors redrilled or switch to a Big Brake Kit that will allow second gen brakes/rotors/etc to be fitted to 1984/1985 large spindles. Just so you know, all 1984/1985 front spindles are the same size.

For the rear, the options are similar. Have your current axles shaft redrilled or purchase Moser axles.

I have a group buy that just ended a several weeks back for a Big Brake Kit. If I can get enough interest by eight people, I can place another order.

Rotors

Kansas, I am not looking to replace the whole setup. I will have them re-drilled, just hoped to find someone that sold new rotors already drilled.

You said all 84-85 are the same, even the non SE ?

Thanks, Bruce

Correct, all 84/85 spindles are the same. The difference on the GSL-SE is all in the rotor/hub assembly

You can try KCRaceware. They sell aftermarket hubs but I'm not sure if they can get them custom drilled to 5 lug or not.

Great Guy, but not looking to spend $800 on front rotors.
His are made for road racing, light weight & strong, great product...

Option "B"... where is the best place to purchase replacement drilled/slotted rotors (GSL-SE) ?

I want to buy new ones & send them to Moser, they will re-drill for $90 a pair.

I am 99% sure I purchased the SE rotors & brakes, what do I measure to confirm this ?

Again, thanks for your help !

Great, Thank You. I do have 4x114.3

Do the GSL-SE rotors differ from 84-85 GSL rotors?

I want to order new rotors, but see different part numbers for front rotors

KansasCityREPU 08-21-14 02:09 PM

Yes, GSL are 4x110mm bolt pattern and smaller diameter and your current GSL-SE caliper will not fit GSL rotors. You want GSL-SE rotors.

Kansas, You are the man... Thank You !

Any suggestions on where to buy new rotors ? prefer drilled/slotted

Your cheapest route would be someone like RockAuto for standard rotors.
