Another I want these mad tyte rim on my ride. Not so much this time.

I am probably picking up a nice SA (kgray's car) in the next couple weeks. I have a modified GSL-SE and as such have several sets of both stock and aftermarket rims. I would like to be able to use some of the rims on the SA without changing the SA over to a GSL-SE suspension. I am trying to keep it relatively stock, it already has an S3 non SE front suspension on it.

I know that there are companies that make spacers and I know the offset of the non SEs are about +25 whereas the SEs are about +40. I would like to know how large the spacers need to be to put them around the SE offset. Ideally about 15 mm right? Thats about .6 inch. Most of the spacers are at least an inch or more.

Does anyone have experience with these? Any vendors you would suggest or recommend.

Got the car home now. Still haven't really found any good information.

There is a company I called about this ordeal called technotoytuning.com

They have made wheel adapters for any fitting you want. I called if they do 4x110 conversions to 4x114.3 and yes, they do them. It's 180 for a set and they're 32mm thick

Don't know if this helps much, but Im looking into getting them when I get some 0+ offset Rewinds or B.bombs and ZG fender flares.

There are spacers and there are wheel adapters. The difference is that wheel adapters change the bolt pattern while spacers don't. If you're going to change the bolt pattern, the adapter has to be thick enough to accommodate lug nuts and studs. As I remember, 20mm is about the minimum allowable thickness. I had mine custom made at wheeladapters.com.

Kevin sold his car? That's the first I've heard of this, been wondering why he hasn't been posting for a while. Try these guys, haven't dealt with them though.

Kevin sold me the car a little over a month ago. I flew out to KC and drove it back to FL. It made the trip fine besides the caliper bracket came loose around St. Louis. The car feels a little down on power and smokes pretty heavily on first startup and when shifting above 4k. I am coming from a modded GSL-SE which may contribute to the "slow" feeling. Any other specifics you can give me on the car?
