what the title sais, i cant seem to find any tachs that say rotary engine. i have an autoguage rpm tach but it has settings for 4cyl, 6 and 8 but thats it.

 

Yes, those work.

Some in the 4 cyl mode.
Some in the 6 cyl mode.

MosesX605, I'm going with a dizzy to keep it simple, because I'm stupid. Actually, most people used to go to an FB dizzy when installing an FC or later engine in an older chassis. That is untill ECUs came down in price as much as they have recently. But then again, if you put a carb on an FC engine, running an FB dizzy makes perfect sence. I've just taken the cool direct fire 0&180º sparks that FCs came stock with, and made it work with FB parts (DLIDFIS), and then took it a step further and will make it work on a 20B.

I'm only a month or two away from firing it up in an older chassis. I'll only spend like 2k on it. Not bad considering most spend 10-15k for a typical 20B install in an FC. I plan to do a 20B FC someday, but for now and my budget, I think 2k will be enough.
