48ida 13b OMP question
Im building a 4 port 13b for my 1st gen using SE housings and 12a plates. Im planning to run a 48ida with a racing beat manifold. I want to run the SE OMP so im thinking about tapping my manifold to accept the SE oil injectors. No I'd rather not run premix, I just want to pull up at the gas station, fill up and be on my way. My question is, where do I run the line coming from the vacuum spider? Normally i believe it comes from the manifold air before the throttle plate so it is filtered clean air. Does the spider just supply air or is it an actual vacuum? Is the spider even necessary? Can I just stick a breather filter on the line and call it a day? Or even leave it bare? Thanks in advance.
