^^^ im with fatmanslim on this. Im a noob when it comes to ignition and timing.. can someone give me step by step instructions.

Funny you guys should ask. I just put up a write-up on how to build the simplified circuit. It isn't too bad to build. I will be offering kits and assmbled units shortly. These are a more advance than the design in the write-up. However, the even the kit would be even easier to build than what I wrote up as the board will be a professionally built circuit boards. You just need to drop the parts in and solder. If you guys have any questions, feel free to ask. I know it can be a bit hard to follow.

yea very hard for me to follow, i have a hard tiem understanding all that electricle shit on a car esspecially that igniton stuff, i am so lost but yet so interested

First of all, is this the actual transistor trick or is it an added application, Ive read a bit in these threads and for some reason I think there are two things you can do to your ignition but i could be wrong, I dunno lil confused right now

The current circuit is similar to what is used in this thread, but a bit more advanced. The version used in this thread works well, but puts too much strain on the 2nd gen ignitor. I am currently working on some noise issues in the new circuit, but once that is resolved, they will be ready to ship. In this thread they talk about two modes (fixed pulse, variable pulse). This because these were the first circuits made and we were testing what mode works better. It was found that the variable pulse worked better in the low end and the fixed worked better up top. The last batch of circuit I did were an auto-switching design so that you can get the best of both worlds (variable in the low end, switch to fixed pulse up top). The newest batch has this feature as well, but also limits the long pulses to make sure the 2nd gen ignitor doesn't get too hot.

how much are you selling an assembled circuit for gsl-se? I've been reading a lot about this (a little confused) but i want in bad..... and oh yeah, your a genius, keep up the awsome work.
