Ive never run MSD in my 7 but I did run a prototype 2gdfis+TT and loved it! I havent ever seen a quanitative comparison of the two but my used 2nd gen coil pack + Transistor Trick only cost me a total of like 65$. You didnt mention your setup but the only person that tested the TT on a turbo 12a ended up switching back to the MSD (I believe?). Im waiting for v2 of the transistor which will prevent early 2nd gen ignitor failure. Preorder one here...

I have no experience with the MSD, so I can't really compare the MSD to the 2GCDFIS. The MSD boxes do take up a fair amount of room and can be a bit expensive. FBII didn't have the TT. He tried regular 2GCDFIS. There shouldn't be a problem. I am not sure what happened with that. TurboSE ran the very 1st TT setup on his turbo SE and liked it a lot. He isn't on this forum anymore, I don't think.

There are quite a few options with ignitions. I am sure you will be happy with whatever you decide.

I'm currently running a MSD 6al direct fire with a 2nd gen coil. gsl-se addict is right about the box taking up room. So far I like how it performs, but I do want to try gsl-se addict's new generation tt.

As soon as I get one from gsl-se addict, I will post my opinions on both.
