I was thinking Puerto Rico for second there. Woops. If you could get in contact with shops in PR, there should be TONS of support. I seem to remember seeing lots of fast rotaries coming outta there. Hell, I think Kaminari only imports their old 1st gen kit to PR...or else someone is reproducing it there, one of the two.

Anyway, what I'm saying is look to Puerto Rico for parts and shops! :)

Puerto Rico is way out of the way...and expensive to deal with.

If you are in Costa Rica or plan to go there, then I can help...

there is a Dyno in Costa Rica and some high performance shops, there is a lot of frabication going on there. Mostly dealing with Korean brands and some hondas. Costa Rica has a couple of tracks and a drag strip. The taxes are high for automotive parts and shipping costs are high.

well I'm next door to Costa Rica in Panama City, Panama...Panama has the dollar as currency and shipping costs are low, some of the racers from Costa Rica actually get their stuff shipped to Panama.

There are very few rx7s in Costa Rica as far as I know of. In Panama there are a few and I'm so far the only one racing an FB in drag and circuit racing. There are a few stock FDs, one JDM FD from a friend of mine, and a bunch of slow ass FC, just two FC turbo IIs one is racing circuit races and doing ok. There is one 3 rotor engine in a shop down here, I got like 7 engines a couple of 13Bs, a couple of GSL-SE 13b, and a bunch of 12as of all series.
I also recommend a guy from Dominican Republic that deals with rotaries...close by....

shoot me an email m_performance@hotmail.com to get in touch.

bye

Thanks! I'm not moving anytime soon unless I win the lottery, but thanks for the info. I'll keep your email around.
