1984 Car and Driver

I bought this magazine in March of 1984 and framed the cover 'cause that's also when I bought my brand new 1984 RX-7 GSL-SE. Still have the cover and the car.

Click on the image to download a full-sized printable copy. (700K 2424 x 3200 pixel JPEG) It'll make a nice 8x10 glossy for you to frame.

T.J. - you should like this since you and the cover have something in common. It'd be great to hang on your wall. Hope you like it... :)

1. Love that eighties jump suit

2. Love the rotors used as weights

3. Love the beautiful red 1st gen

Hmm...looks like it's time to start hititng the swap meets looking for old issues of C&D.

Are there any other old mags that feature, specifically, the GSL-SE? Prefer the 84, but 85 would do...

In common like March 1984 was when I was born? Or in common like we both have rotors laying around as "weights"?

Well... both now that you mention it. Polish a second rotor up like you did that other one and make a dumbell. That'd shud be quite a conversation item :)
