13B e-fan, and yes, I've searched

Hey everyone, need a little help. I finally found a 3.8L Taurus fan and it too is too deep to fit between my radiator and water pump pulley. I've searched all over the place. For anyone with a 13B and e-fan, what in the hell are you using? I just wanna be able to get her rolling and it just ain't happening.

I installed a Black Magic electric fan for my '85 GSL-SE when I was installing a new tall radiator.
For mounting I used aluminum 2" angle with a little trimming to make it look good. I really should post a picture of it installed.
People may balk at the $200 Black Magic fan cost, but I ask them 'do want to trust your $2,500 engine on a used junk yard fan?' if so, go for it.

Two 12" Spal fans. I would recommend two 10" fans, to avoid having to cut any of the radiator support like i did.

I used to have a Black Magic Fan, but it was too close to the A/C and P/S Pulley.

I used One 16" Mr.gasket fan. It mounts in 5 minutes without having to make brackets.

Victoria British here in Kansas city sells an all inclusive electric fan kit with an ajustable thermostat for about $ 120. I just ordered one (hope it works out)

Found it whilst searching for Electric fans and radiators...

I'm still trying to figure out why nobody offers an Aluminium radiator for the 1st Gen...

I now own two Taurus fans, one 3.0 and one 3.8, and neither look like that slim little thing on the tripod page. If I could find that fan, I'd be set. As it happens, I'm building on a budget, so junkyard fans are a big plus. Any idea whose page that is?

I tried the 3 liter taurus fan, didnt fit, went to return it, they said they only take exchanges on electrical items(wich he woulda mentioned that when i bought it) so i got a slimmer e fan from a focus, the shroud is the exact same as on the taurus one, and it seems like its way way to small. Does the shroud have to enclose the entire rad within it?

Yep, but only on the tall style radiators. I guess you could try it on the short style, but the bottom tank edge might be in the way.
