13b bridgeport header

Hey guys, I'm currently piecing together my 13b swap and I'm wondering about a header. I have a Racingbeat currently but I've read their design is more for cost-effectiveness over performance and that 3" of straight before the first bend is ideal.

Sound is probably the most important thing to me, power slightly less so and volume isn't really a problem. I'm just curious what other products are out there or what would be good for 8k rpm max on a bridgeport

the RB header has the engine mating up to a cheated bend in the pipe, and this is where there is improvement to be had. also if you have an FC engine the exhaust ports are 48mm and the header is only 44mm. there is enough meat to port the header inlet so it matches, and this helps. the FC port is actually too big the race engines are smaller.

best bang for the buck i think is to buy the RB header kit, i think there is enough stuff where you can have it so that its straight out of the engine, maybe not for 3", but probably more than enough.

44mm ID for the pipe is basically right, length is up to you, but if you're making something, it would be easy to clamp pipes together to try some different lengths and see what you and the engine like.
