12a or 13b

I had owned a GSL-SE until i was hit...now i found one (targa 7 edition) but i also found a 83 GSL. So now i would like to know which one is better to still be a daily driver but also be an occasional drag car. My budget is not unlimited so i would like approximate cost (In Canadian dollars is prefered.)

absolutely 13b!

Are parts cheaper for the 13b? and is it easier to increase the power (without a turbo)

well if a 12a blows good luck finding iorns and housings. i havent compared 12a and 13b but i would suspect they are cheaper just because there are far more out there. (then 12a parts that is)

13b easily.

A second gen 13b (especially s5) with a factory lower intake, functional aux ports, a sidedraft, exhaust and streetport = 160+hp easily, you'd have to turbo or bridge a 12a to get there.
