HOw about the vid of your dyno pull i know yah took one :P

82transam 05-07-08 01:29 PM

Looking good man, personally I'd have a spoiler on the back of it, but it looks great either way. So is it "done" or what? Looks like you might have beaten me ;)

dj55b 05-07-08 02:23 PM

Unfortunatly, I forgot to take videos of it on the dyno, but will when I'm on it next time. Should be in a couple of weeks or so.

82transam - Define done :) ... its always a project car, but its all legal with plates and insurance on it now, and did about 280 miles on it yesterday alone, so I think that I've got you beat by a bit :)

I did run into a little problem this morning going into getting a bite. Hopefully she can start up again, looks like its not getting a cas signal again, not sure why, because this morning, I cranked it up, first try she started, and drove away. Then parked it at the coffee shop, and she stopped working. Really really weird.

I'd hit it. I like the interior color alot. It's perfect with you exterior color

If that problem still persists then we are still tied as far as I'm concerned haha just kidding I'm still redoing my exhaust and there is still a lot of details to take care of. Working full time and trying to build this car sucks! haha

dj55b 05-07-08 03:04 PM

Working pretty much full time, going to school full time, and trying to work on the car is harder :P

dj55b 05-07-08 03:06 PM

BTw .. here's the dyno graph off of it .. I'm not posting the number because they're all wrong as the dyno was off about 20-25% on most cars (one guy dynoes about 500hp last year and this year it only showed 400ish .. ) so its really about 20-25% off. But you should be able to reference thing better. The TQ really picks up after 5252 unlike before is when it started to fall down, and I bet you we can get that bottom end smoothed out even more :D

Yea I did that for a while the semester before I got this crappy full time job, something about the 9-5 schedule messes everything up haha.
Oh well, kudos to you sir :)

82transam 05-07-08 03:10 PM

btw did you see the latest pics of mine? I posted them a few weeks ago....

dj55b 05-08-08 08:48 AM

Nope I've still got you beat :P ... Traced the problem to the ground going to the CAS wires, looks like when the Main ground cable got disconnected, the current tried going in there, and melted the solder then let the connection loose. But she lives again :D

82transam 05-08-08 09:10 AM

meh mines got more power so there :P
