this is why you always look twice
a fellow officer at my department on my shift was involved in an accident the other night. the driver of the other vehicle pulled out in front of the officer, causing the officer's cruiser to impact the driver's side of the vehicle that pulled out. the officer suffered injuries that were not fatal. thank God for the vest that we wear. the officer will be down for 6 weeks. i am not able to discuss the condition of the passengers of the vehicle that was struck by the cruiser.

Sorry to hear about your coworker. Is he OK? Was he speeding?

my fellow officer is going to be alright. luckily he was not speeding. a van pulled out right in front of him and the officer t-boned the van. i was over the officer's house yesterday and he is getting around ok. he did tell me that he didnt realize that he used his chest so much until it hurt so bad. he told me that the doctor told him that if her werent wearing his vest that the impact to his chest may have broken ribs and done some internal injury. the officer suffered a fractued sternum, some cuts and bruises, and some cut uniform items.

If someone could host the pics ill show you a 71 Chevelle that got T boned by a Semi. I had to go out on the accident last friday. I do commercial insurance work BTW
