Why to buy from Rock Auto.
I needed new front calipers for my 84 GSL, so I did some running around to multiple local parts stores checking prices and availability. After getting at best $86CDN each plus $30 core charge and an unknown arrival time I came home and checked rockauto.com. After shipping it came to $124CDN. I placed my order on Monday and just got back from spending more money on the car and they were sitting at my door. Less than 3 days for a regular postage shipment and significantly cheaper than anything local. One happy customer.

Got quite a few empty boxes in my garage with that blue and white tape on it, too. Most-recent one had my Moog upgraded idler arm in it, from a couple weeks ago.

That's where I got my moog idler arm (and lots of other parts too) for less than the price of the stock unit at autozone. They're a good outfit if you know what you're looking for.
They avoid a lot of overhead associated with retail store outlets so they can have lower prices. Now they just need lower their prices a little more and pass more of those savings on to us! |
yep ... my first order from them was a few years ago - the idler arm. however, i just got a few things for my Gen II and my girlfriend's Impala this week.

i like em too NODE ordered rear drums for the SA, they sent rear discs.... so since they fit peepers, i got rear discs for free, can't beat that.
