War of the Wheels Fb Episode
Warning: This is only a teaser!
Finally, after waiting for several months for the reruns to cycle through again, the episode involving an Fb build broadcast this morning. Now I only have to get it off my PVR and into a small enough file for you guys to view. In case you have no idea what I'm jabbering about, War of the Wheels was a Toronto produced 1 hr long show where two teams had three days to rebuild a pair of near identical cars. The final products would be judged on appearance as well as performance. Instead of the usual drag race, the Fbs in this episode competed on an actual race circuit. To my knowledge this is the only show along the lines of Monster Garage or Overhaulin' that features our car, really a jewel of a show and not widely seen outside of Canada. Stay tuned!!!! |
cool ....looking forward to seeing it

Any possibility of getting a higher quality vids? |
that was a very good video

I hear you Directfreak. These files are about 125 mB in size but the video quality is much much better. You can increase the window size with VLC significantly and not bring on pixelation.

Great show, thanks for sharing! Although it hurt to watch them tear apart two perfect interiors like that. Hopefully they went to someone who needs them rather than a dumpster.
PS I wonder if any of those guys are members on here? |

Not a videophile, so don't tell me to load some other crap software but thanks for the suggestions. Maybe I'll upload to picassa and see if it converts it something I can view. |
VLC player works great as well as GOM player

Very cool episode. Thank you for the upload

Yeah, just finished watching it. Like it, was very awesome
|
I'll have to check this one out.
I saw an episode where they rebuilt a 240z... it was cool but a bit too much for my taste. |

So I guess this show busts the myth about needing to break-in a brand new engine? Considering this engine was rebuilt, ported and had a turbo added to it and then it was raced the next day.
