Using fuel line from fuel injection GSL SE for holley carburetor set up
 

I have post before switching to holley carburetor, I ran into the following situation
fuel line for the holley carburetor and fuel pump is 3/8', however the stock fuel rail lines are 5/16'.

Question is can you use this lines by using a reducer 3/8 to 5/16 where the in /return lines go?
or do you need to run new pipe lines?

? also see pic below - the holley fuel pump takes 3/8 lines? but the stock are 5/16

this is the other end where I will replace the fuel injection pump with a holley fuel pump, but again the lines are 5/16 , any input on what to do on this end?,
the holley should go vertical,

I don't think the 8mm oe lines are going to work with the Holley parts(what size is that carb/ Has to be at least 650 cfm) they are likely to cause some weird fueling issues acting like a bottleneck in fuel system. Probably can use them to get car running,expect you'll need to replace them with larger id at some point.

Depending on the holley pump, you can mount it on the frame rail just before the rear end near where the hard lines for the tank are mounted to the rail. There is a good write up in the archives for mounting a carter fuel pump in the same location that may give you an idea.

I think on the -se this is roughly where/near the fuel filter is mounted.

use the gslse fi pump but you need a regulator with a return and 3/8 fuel return line to tank. you also need to a jumper wire to run the pump

I agree With Siraniko about keeping the GSL-SE EFI pump and going with a regulator that can handle it. But you didn't mention which type of reg to use.

I recommend and use the Mallory 4309. It is a perfect pressure regulator for our cars. If plumbed correctly according to their instructions, it can be adjusted below their 3psi lower limit. I've gotten all the way down to 1.5psi or so. But I keep it at 2.5psi for Nikki carbs. It is easy to get them to run at 6psi or whatever your Holley wants. Their advertised range is 3 to 15 psi I believe, and designed with a boost reference if you choose to add a turbo some day.

To the OP, of course I don't recommend Holley carbs, but you've already made your choice. Good luck.
