Targa band Fix
Well after a couple of days driving around i got sick of seeing my targa band with out any emblems. I wasn't sure what to use to put them back on so i just went with some JB Weld.
Here is how it turned out.... http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/5171/cimg0292x.jpg http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/2571/cimg0306z.jpg I let them sit for about a day but they feel like there on there pretty good. I might have put a little bit too much on them because you can see it kind of oozed out on top. But other than that it looks better. I also took some pictures with the Targa band on and off just to see how it looks. Looks good with the band on. Next time put some masking tape on both the targa band and the emblem (or whatever parts your working with) to keep excess JB weld from making any unsightly messes. Peel it off before the JB hardens and you won't see a bit.

Yea, it looks pretty good. Maybe next fix will be that big fender dent?
I'm still kicking myself for passing up a good targa band at pick n pull a few years ago! |
looks great on or off! what happened to the fender?

Car looks good except for the fender. Dating fat girls again?
