S5 coils and ignightors

should i do the direct fire or save them for the microtech ecu? and if i do the swap to direct fire. can i swap it back? btw i do have the crank angle sensor. CAS for short.

Are you using the CAS now or was the car running with the CAS on it?

no its in my shed cant use it dont have the ecu and harness for it. so cant use it. but with the microtech i can use it. i just ended up getting the coils from the S5 yesterday and I'm not sure if i want to rewire them or not. but with the microtech its just plug and play so that shouldn't be too hard. i cant wait to start having fun with that car when i come back. i do need to find an rpm controller though for the 6th port actuators. taking the air pump and all the emissions that i can off and running 4 injectors probably the ones from RC those looked pretty sweet. might just run 4 680cc injectors at first then run the 2 step ones about 850cc primaries and 1120cc secondaries. and im going to change the mass air flow sensor. to on thats a little more modern because the microtech doesn't car what MAFS is on it as long as it has one

I'd say do it. The swap is very easy (just separate the coils from the ignitor, mount the coils, move the wires over). Switching back is as easy as you want to make it, takes only a minute if you leave the original wiring intact. Performance improvement is significant over stock ignition...

now all i got to do is get the time to do it right?
