Rusted rocker
 

I have an '84 gsl se the body is near perfect, i undercoated the whole car i just have one issue with it before i send it off to paint, i have a small rusted out part of the driver side rocker panel, i cant find a replacement rocker, think i should patch it? give me some ideas

Hum I would recommend you get it (rust) removed & repaired otherwise it will just spread.

i know i have to get rid of it, would i be better off finding a car to cut the rocker out of or putting a patch there after cutting away the rust?

Hard to tell from that picture, but if surface rust you could grind or sandblast it off. If it has started to "dig in" (that is severaly pitted, or rusted right through) you might have to do some patching...

Get a rocker from a donor car.

You could maybe put POR15 or Hammered Rut Cap for a temp patch. Sorry that's ghetto suggestion. :)
