The rotor gods hate me...

Be careful adjusting your timing. I just broke my fucking rotor in two. :wallbash:

Parts are scarce enough to begin with...

Is this awesome? Y/N

Looks like an awesome lesson in how to correctly install your cap and rotor!

But hey, if you are going to break a rotor that's the best one to break.

I'd say the Rotary Gods are just giving you a little nudge.

Oh yeah, you can get that rotor at any local parts store for less than $10. And you'd better look at the cap too, you'll probably need one of those, about $15. (Well maybe not Mesquite Texas but it should be inexpensive to mail order).

I know the problem. You forgot to sacrifice a Small Block Chevy to appease the Rotary Gods. :D

As Ray said, you should be able to get the cap/rotor locally, but they might need to be special ordered.

I will still run :D

My buddy has a Camaro project car that we ended up blowing the engine to pieces. God that was an awesome fire show. It started raining probably 10 minutes after. Coincidence? I think not. They were tears of joy, of course!

Yeah fortunately I was able to order them through All Import Parts.

Wait. How the hell do I take the rotor off? FSM doesn't say.

pull it straight up

ray green 05-28-08 03:49 PM

Yep yank it out'ta there, looks like it needed to be replaced anyway. Who knows, you might even notice the 7 is running a little better for your trouble!

And yeah, every time a boinger goes up in smoke the Rotary Gods send down a little rain to purify things.

Actually, it does Ray. Kind of a nice change of pace.

Yea that's not Rotor God trouble..

You'll know it when Crom get's angry (apex seal and or smokeage).
