REPU in new NetFlix series Stranger Things

Was watching the new series Stranger Things on NetFlix and noticed a REPU in S1:E3 at the 19:37 minute mark. Then in S1:E4 at the 14:49 minute mark.

The series is set the in late 1970's so a bunch of period correct cars. The only thing I noticed is that for that time frame, the age and shine of the paint on most of the cars is really bad. Should be more shinny. In particular, the REPU paint is really faded. I think it's a 1974 or 1975 version. It really caught my eye because I have a 1977 REPU in the same faded blue color.

That's awesome! Maybe I'll have to start that series finally just for this reason

It's a 75 with almost 500,000 miles on it.

I know because it's mine!

I also had my 64 Ford Falcon and my 84 Ford Bronco II in the show. Both of them will be in the second season of the show.

3 motors, one auto-tranny replacement.

It's awesome that you noticed the REPU in the series, especially with its faded paint. Funny how even the smallest details can spark our interest, right? I agree to maintain that period-correct look, including the shine of the paint, can really enhance the authenticity of the show's setting.
