Replacement carpet question

Hey guys, I've tried to search everywhere I can think of, but could not find anything on this topic any where, nor could I find this. I'm looking for an EXACT match to the oem carpet. Black carpet with the black square rubber/vinyl heal pad under the pedals AND the vinyl pad next to the gas pedal on the trans tunnel. Everything I find only has the one heal pad but not the second one on the tunnel. I don't know why since it's supposed to be a replica of the original. So does anyone know where I can find this? I can't find it anywhere that I have looked and so far I have managed to keep everything original. I would hate to mess it up now. Thanks!!

Far as I know, all the available aftermarket carpets are cheap imitations of the OEM. Like other interior parts, you end up looking for the nicest pieces from other parted out cars or junk yard wrecks.

stockinteriors.com has carpet for your rx-7. I got the one without the backing. It looks lumpy. A bodyshop owner said I just need some velcro patches. I wish I got the one with the backing.

It doesn't matter now since water gets inside after a rain storm. And I haven't installed the carpet.

Right now I'm doing the inside door panels in stained plywood. The oem door panels were getting raunchy. Also I removed the center consul. Talk about wasted space! And wasted material. Mazda designers decided to squander weight and heavy strong steel on the center consul and the top of door panels. Then they cheap out with light flimsy aluminum billet door handles.

It must be like all car company managers tell the designer, "this part is unacceptably strong and too efficient use of weight and materials, come back with something heavy, useless, and takes up a lot of space, And use the least amount, and weakest material around areas that have the most stress". Or they have the geniuses design the brakes. engine and drive train, and the retards design the interior?
