Parasitic Battery drain?
 

Not sure if the fb does this but I've had issues with the glove box light not turning off due to poor connection with the connector even though the glove box looked closed.

Battery replaced under warranty,brand name,good quality? Alternator test done off the car? What model 1st gen? What is the voltage at battery when you see the 12.9-13.2 volts on dash gauge,car running? Do you own a voltmeter,know how to use it?

have you tested for amp draw with a meter?

Is this a totally stock 7? What year and trim? Any aftermarket alarms/stereos installed? We need more information to really help pin point the issue.

If you search on youtube, you can find videos on how to test for and find a parasitic draw.

If you cant find the drain, I didnt look for mine, I just installed a battery disconnect switch. The battery doesnt drain down anymore. It solved the problem.

I have an old aftermarket Jensen stereo in my -7 which will drain the battery in about a week if the car is not run to recharge. Excessive current consumed by the memory retention circuit. As my car is mostly stored with the battery disconnected (only driven a couple times a month) it hasn't been worth the expense to fix it.

I can also avoid the issue by disconnecting the main fuse link, but the older wire-type ones don't like to be endlessly flexed, & disconnecting the battery is better protection against other issues for medium-term storage.
