When is it this year? It's Valspar low gloss tractor and implement paint. It came out better than I anticipated. I was very apprehensive going in. $20 Craigslist compressor and $29 harbor freight gun. Right in the front yard on a sunny morning.

Looks fantastic! Awesome job.

Not bad for what you have in the paint job!! What color was the car originally?

It was Sparkle Black Metallic. Before the budget crisis I was gonna have a guy paint it Hot Rod Flatz Charcoal Metallic, which is damn close to the factory color. This, in its way, is not far off. And I learned enough to do it again better. One day. Looks really good at night. The finish is kinda suede like. Attachment 565248

My original intent. I'm mulling it now. We'll see.

I'd love to replace my pitted windshield, but you can't find the bronze tinted windshields anymore.

NCross 09-04-15 07:42 PM

I bet some Atkins clear lenses would make it pop.

My lovely young wife had a friend of hers make a copy of the DGRR sticker from 2 years ago.
