sry no pic as of yet. its a GSL

well I don't know much about these cars but the guy who i bought it from said it had the following mods:

Engine was ported(is there any way to confirm without opening it up?)

Webber carb (also handed me a bag with parts and said it was all the emissions stuff he had taken off)

stage 2 clutch

and that the exhaust was open from the headers back to the muffler no silencer (I'm guessing this goes where the cats used to be) its freaking loud

things that are wrong:

drivers side window suck down(gonna check this weekend if off track or motor)

passenger side front fender needs to be replaced

my favorite quick fix, the bike brake cable for a throttle cable (he said he couldent find a universal cable after the Webber install)

other than that the car is very solid, interior is good exept for the drivers seat which has a few tears in it. carpet good ,dash good no cracks. all in all not bad.

EDIT:also he said it was lowered but ill have to check against the stock ride hight -

welcome to the club. ur local drag strip might be a way to tell if it's ported, or u could pull the intake and look at the ports but u'd need stock port irons to compair it to. a quick search of the net brought this: http://www.carforums.net/showthread.php?t=10251. the power window issue could also be the switch, unless it went down with no problem but just wont go back up. then yes it's most likely the motor. try some lubrication first tho. also be sure to check out the faq's and if u don't have one, get or download a copy of the fsm.
