Dont like it at all, not for the rx7, makes it too much like the camaros or watever other crappy muscle that had it that everyone takes to the drag strips.

as a disclaimer to all who i offended with that comment IMHO.

as well this should probably be in non tech.

COCHEPO 04-12-08 10:43 PM

Thanks for your honest opinion.

djessence 04-12-08 10:50 PM

You may not thank me for my louge response. Could try the V8 section as well.

I might have a different opinion if i actually saw it on the car even rough finished and just placed, but i would think itd just look tacky.

as well how much would it weigh, how well would it hold up to speed and does it just stick on the top or is it a proper hood?

COCHEPO 04-12-08 11:54 PM

Dont worry you did not hurt my feelings. like I said Im searching for feed back and is not a finish product and once is finish I will post pictures on a vehicle. and yes this is intended for diferent set ups like taller turbos or maybe v8 conversions.:icon_tup:

pinoyremix 04-13-08 12:15 AM

i agree this hood looks more like a v8 conversion

that does look like tomuch of a camaro thing. my friend that owns a camaro (taking up more space then my rx7) wants one. i will tell you one thing i hate fiber glass work and cost alot.

I too am not a fan of this style. For the RX-7 FB you might want to consider the IMSA style vents, they're functional and seem to fit this style of car.

Imsa Style Vents

Do you have any pics of this style of vents? if so send me some I have no knowledge of them might be able to work it out.

Jeezus 04-13-08 11:43 PM

It doesn't look bad, no. But I doubt anyone with a 12a/13b/20b would buy it.

djessence 04-13-08 11:45 PM

Looks pretty good. I agree with Jeezus though, and dont think it fits the rotary style. With a V8 in there, maybe.

If it is for a v8, than I say awesome, but for a rotary, I like mine better.

COCHEPO 04-14-08 09:19 AM

Thanks for your input, maybe is more set up for a V8. Just wanting inputs from all.
