my new 7

So after years of trolling around here and wishing I had a 7, I finally went out and purchased one. Decided to put some pics up after giving her a good shine.

It's an '85 GSL with 91k on it. Acquired for $2700 (eh?).

Has its ups and downs

The good:
- Newish paint job
- Runs strong
- Everything on the car works (power windows, radio, A/C)
- Very clean

The bad:
- The newish paint job wasn't done especially well. Painted over rust and some paint got on parts it shouldn't have (plastic parts/headlights/etc)
- Small spots of rust starting to come up
- Cranky idle.. Some days it idles solid.. some it hardly stays running.
- Fuel pump about to die? Started up the car yesterday and the pump clicked off while running.. then it kicked back on.. off.. on .. off .. on .. you get the picture..

Now to get some time to work on it :)

here's plenty of pics :P

Btw, the clicking of the fuel pump on and off is likely not the fuel pump, but the pump relay under the dash. I had that issue with mine when i installed the weber. Just a heads up.

very nice car. as far as the rough idle goes, check for vacuum leaks first, especially if its hit or miss.

Anywho, thanks for the tips/compliments! Time to get working on it...
