I see 76 views of this thread but only 10 views of the attached pdf?? So only one in seven people reading this thread feel compelled to read the article. Why???? Do you know how few cars made have real racing heritage, and from that small pool fewer still can boast racing victories? If you own a Sa/Fb, you own a part of that history. If you want to remain ignorant then you're frankly not worthy of belonging to this group. |

This is exactly why I bought my used SA in 1983. I wanted the same car that had won not only SPA but many SCCA events as well. I'll never regret not getting the GSL-SE. |

I got to sit in this car last year at Goodwood Festival of Speed :D The current owner was explaining everything to me. Good guys! Sounds awesome

Great read! Always nice to read up on these fascinating cars. We need to start a thread on nothing more than articles about the 1st gen. From historic wins and races that the sa and fb were involved in. Maybe even some spec sheets on what parts these cars had installed. I like the strut tops on this sa.

Thanks for posting this, I first read about this car when I started getting interested in the SA/FB. The SA/FB was definitely an extremely prolific car in endurance racing. Another interesting non-American car would be the Allan Moffat car which was extremely successful in Australian endurance racing.
