Much thanks Jim, fun reading. And I love the ads.

Thanks Ray, you're a true gentleman!

I'm happy to preserve these gems of history for posterity. I was just starting high school when this issue came out so I never read it until now. But I was at least old enough to experience how sensational the Fb was when it was new.

I want that Recaro!

Wow! I remember reading that in the library in college. One of the reasons I got a SA.

Wow, I started kidney garden in 1980. I'm like super young compared to you guys.

So you just hit the big 4-0 then I would assume. Its all downhill from there. :egrin:

On here, age doesn't matter, its whats between the ears that counts.

Jeff20B 10-02-15 12:21 PM

Yeah, I appear to be the same age as j9fd3s and know nearly as much about rotaries as he does. Well, I know more about Nikkis and he knows more about factory EFI. Same difference. I also lived in CA when I first started school. However I was here in WA when Mt St Helens blew up. That was interesting. I actually heard it the morning it popped. Sounded like a very big M80 way off in the distance. Of course I was only like 4 or 5 years old and anything loud sounded like fireworks to me. :D
