Mazda Technical Training Program

Got my hands on the computer based tech training program for the Renisis Rotary Engine! it has very nicely laid out pictures and practice tests for certification, it's just a great reference tool to have. Any one know where I can get Rebuild Videos? I know that there is one from Atkins Rotary I believe? any know if it is good?

mazdaverx713b Nov 20, 2007 09:15 AM

you know what would be awesome? if you could find a way to host the program so everyone could download it....

dbragg Nov 20, 2007 09:40 AM

^^+1

or email, or snail mail me a copy

Glazedham42 Nov 20, 2007 10:42 AM

I'd DEFINITELY like to get a copy of this program as well. Could you put it on a CD and mail it? My brother in law does website design. If you could email me or snail mail me a copy we could probably find a way to host it....

Rotary Aviation has a rebuild vid, which is the one I have. There is somone in Aussieland that's produced a DVD set and, iirc, wasn't Pineapple Racing working on something?

Loose10AE Nov 20, 2007 05:06 PM

BUMP. I could use this too.

I will look into trying to get a way to get it to all who want it as soon as Turkey-day is done! Didn't think I'd get this much interest in it!

bugman1973 Nov 20, 2007 08:29 PM

id like a copy. id like to see how the engine is so much different and how it produces all its power

Am I the only one here concerned about copyright issues? I'd be real surprised if it's legal to post this material on a website for all to download. I hope I'm wrong, but it should be investigated before posting it.

There could be, but a quick search on google with the right terms brings up a 150MB file that's probably exactly what he has.

Not to be a nitpicking jerk or anything, but don't you mean Pythagoras rather than Pythagorean in your sig?? It could read either way, but I just thought I would ask. It's been in the back of my mind and I had to find out....

wanklenoob Nov 21, 2007 02:58 PM

Oh wow, Glazedham...you're right! fixed, it's been a while, but of course you are obviously into the math, because of your local.

Glazedham42 Nov 22, 2007 09:58 AM

I put myself through college working as a math tutor. I get all excited about nerdy stuff like that.... :D

I hate torrents. Unless you are referring to another file.

JWteknix Nov 22, 2007 03:38 PM

i have taken and passed all availible mazda rotary tests and they have nothing to do w/ actually rebuilding just improvments and what not mazda also does not offer rotary hands on courses because they reman everything. you can buy the availible information for the tests at mstore.com or net

rx7learner Dec 6, 2007 02:50 PM

That's not the full file size. It's bigger than that...

Use isohunt.com to get the torrent and azureus after you get the torrent to download the file.

There is also a vid of someone doing a 13b rebuild in their garage over 1gb.

yetterben Dec 7, 2007 10:29 AM

fbatman Dec 9, 2007 11:24 AM

Trochoid- yes they (Pineapple Racing) have been:

www.rebuildingrotaryengines.com

it's awesome. They've been putting these short how-to videos out for free for over a year now, and they include a bunch of tips/tricks that aren't in the Atkins Rebuild Video. Just thought I'd throw my two cents in...I love them!
