Turns out I read it on Jalopnik when it came out and even posted a picture in the comments of my car. Still nice to reread it again. I noticed it has GSL-SE wheels even though its a 12A.

UK/Euro spec, they kept the 12A, but it has 10 degrees more exhaust duration, and kept the thermal reactor

Great Article! Photos can be saved at Full Rez for those that want some sweet desktop image porn for your computer....
Noted the dash in euro cars remained the earlier SA-FB style too. Even the air cleaner looks to be SA spec, rather than FB.
Chalk up to more lax emissions??

the EU didn't have emissions regulations until the late 1980's! so the EU spec Rx7's keep the thermal reactor until 1989
