Idling Questions

So today, I adjusted my idle and mixture screws on the Nikki, and its idling at about 1100-1200, is that okay? or is that too high?

Spec is 750, if you can't go lower with a stock setup check for vacuum leaks.

+1 we get the big port engines to idle at 900-1100.

I would start with the easy to reach places first, and then move a little deeper if you don't find anything. Rats nest if you still have it is easy to check, otherwise move to what comes off the carb and intake manifold. Check them one by one as it is easy to overlook one end or an entire fitting.

You can use carb cleaner while the car is idling to spray on the vacuum fittings to see if engine speed increases. If it does then you found at least one potential vacuum leak.
