I finally got one. A SA22C
Here's some pics at the original owners house.

The engine fells very strong. All it really needs is some new paint since it's been left outside. But the underbody looks almost mint. The odometer say 27XXX (the SA odometer only shows 5 digits). We thought the true milage was 127,XXX but with the condition of the under body and wheel wells leads my friend and I to believe it really only has 27,XXX. But the only thing I plan to do to it is a -SE suspension swap but I'm not gonna touch anything else. |
looks really nice. get rid of those nasty wheel covers. looks like it has had a front end respray. cant wait to see pics of it when you get it home and cleaned up!
keep the wheel covers and do this:

Very nice 1980 you got there (rear bumper gives it away); welcome to the first-first gen club!
Congrads and I hope the 1st thing you do is un-ass those wheels covers!!!

Don't like the Moon eyes? lol. They give the car character. j/k Yeah, I'm ditching those asap.

The paint is all original. The clear coat is pealing from sitting in the sun. The dash is cracked as well. but there's a a couple in the junk yard that i'm pulling later.

Congrats man, glad to have another fb ally.
Fb / sa lol.
Cranguts on your SA :)
glad to see you got it home..now about those wheel covers and that single tip muffler....
Why do you have pie tins on your wheels? ... Pie tins are for Pie... not cars! Silly Forum member :P
Mmmmm.... pie.
The pie tins are for mad tyte aerodynamics. They look quite hilarious in person.
What's under them? Steelies, or alloys?
Steelies. Has Mazda center caps on them as well.
those pizza pie trays!!
i really like that car, silver SA, no sunroof = win
^That's the only reason I bought the car. Now I'm fighting the temptation to start modding it since I know my GSL-SE won't ever be as light as my SA an still be street-able.
