How to put fittings on hard line???

I want to change out the soft lines on the long pipe the runs from the radiator to the firewall with steal branded lines with AN fittings. How can I add fittings to the hard line? I do not want to use hose clamps. My idea was to mig or tig fittings to the hard line that it will accept AN fitting (AN10 or AN12). Can this be done. Anybody have an idea?

I would also like to do something similar to the carb fuel lines.

what you can do is put a sleeve and nut with a flare union or weld in a steel bung. jeg's and summit racing have these parts.

Eric, powder coat it instead. I've done several that way and it will fit in your oven. Do you know how hard that braided line is to get clean once it gets oil soaked.

The current hard line is powder coated. I'm wanting to replace the rubber lines on each end with SS lines and AN fittings.

I did some more research and it looks like I need an AN -10 or -12 compression fitting. I'll have the measure the hard-line first to get the correct size. I'll also have to cut off the barb on the end of the hard-line to get the barrel for the compression fitting on. I hope it's -10, I already have a bunch of -10 hose and standard AN fittings.
