Hello all!

Hello everyone, I am new here to RX 7 club, but not new to the RX 7. I have an '83 first gen that was my daily beater for college but I parked it at my fathers house back in 2003 and it had not moved until last saturday. And to my amazement, I droped in a new battery, changed the fluids and put in a few gallons of premium fuel, and she fired right up on the first try!

Well I drove it home that night and instantly started to rip out the interior and alot of other parts that I wont need. You see, this is going to be an AutoX car for my girl friend:icon_tup: ( I don't trust her with my S2000 autox car)

Well I guess I got moved... But no one left a comment? In other forums that I use this would be considered rude.

Welcome to the darkside. Yeah, the Non-Technical forum here is about 2 weeks old now, so people are still getting their threads moved. A little frustrating. Throw up some pics man! Oh, and you do not need to put in prem fuel, just your basic 87 would be good. Mazda used 82 back in its racing days :)

Dude, you need to be a little bit more patient, okay? I noticed that you left this comment 45 minutes after you posted your original topic. You gotta realize that not everyone is going to be responding to everything at the same time you post, not to mention that most people are still at work or doing something else.

Don't worry, some will come, and it definitely helps to post up pics of your new sled. Complete interior or completely gutted, we don't care.

I apologize for my impatients, I am used to the forums for my S2000 where it seems like as soon as you post, you have three new replies.

And what I meant by rude was that someone took the time to move my post to the correct forum (Thank you!) but didn't post why. In some other forums the mods usually post a message saying moved to ........ Sorry for the confusion

Yeah, moderators are rude! JK. Most of the time they will move it and leave a small link where it was posted originally before that redirects. It will take some time getting used to :)

Yeah, S2000 forums/Honda forums in general are always busy. This is the first generation RX7 section where we rely on more Quality than Quantity posts. Not saying that there are not good posts in those forums haha.

We don't care what the car looks like, we just want pictures. Actually, looking at strip down pictures are enjoyable because, well, I because it's fun to tear stuff apart. And, we want to see what the other guy has done.

Now, you say it'll be a track car, but be careful. You say that now but then it'll be one more gauge, then another one, then you realize a better looking roll cage would do, then a better layout for the switches. Next thing you know, you have a car that resembles that of DirectFreak's or Trochoid's.

The sickness spreads quickly.

I know this sickness all too well. It has infected me already with numerous other projects:wallbash:
