Hazards work but signal lights dont

Having an issue with my 81 rx7. The hazards work but my turn signals do not. everything else with my lights is working, I get running lights, headlights and hazards but no turn signals. Took a part the flasher CPU and everything looked good, thought there was maybe a couple cracks so i re-soldered those but still the same issue. I had a broken wire behind one of my turn signals at the front of the car but I have fixed that as well. The issue started after doing a dash swap but I left most of the wiring alone, the wiring in my car is kind of a mess from the previous owner. How could i test the switch on the column and is there anything in between that could be unhooked. Keep in mind the hazards work but there could there be some wiring on a connector that's maybe not plugged in?

before the dash swap it worked just blinked fast due to one the broken wire at the signal light. nothing at all happens when I move the turn signal switch. All the signals flash as normal when I hit the 4 way flashers(hazards).

Something similar to this has happened to me before, might be the same, maybe not. My issue was the hazard toggle switch was getting stuck partway through this stroke. Even thought it looked like it was completely in the off position and the hazards were off, the contact was not engaged and none of the turn signals worked. A quick way to check this would be to flip the hazard switch on/off at least ten times quickly to work through the corrosion build up on the contacts. Then help the switch into the off position with a little force. That worked to get my turn signals working again. If that works, take apart the toggle switch and clean the contacts. Hope this helps.

^^ +1 Seen this more than once, even when the cars were new. Have cleaned dirt, coffee, soda out of those switches.

i gave that a shot but it did not fix my problem. tried it a few times today and still nothing. does anyone know how to check the switch for contunuity or what wires at the cpu need power?

update: took the steering wheel off and tried cleaning out the switch but still no signal lights.

FIXED!!!!

I was looking at fuse box covers on the internet and seen one that had a fuse for the turns and a fuse for hazards. thought to myself "that makes sense" one is switched power and one needs power all the time. My fuse box just shows "meter/tail" 10A but it was blown. replaced the fuse and booooom signal lights work!

SO stoked. Thanks guys for the swift response. Learned a few new things today.
