The GSL-SE Club

Now that I am almost finished getting my GSL-SE restored and running, I was wondering how many other people own restored and fully functioning SE's.

I think, as time goes by, it is going to become a smaller and smaller group. But maybe I'm wrong. So here is your chance to vote and share pics/info of your car!

I have a SE that I just picked up off eBay. It used to belong to a member here, actually. Anyway, it's got a great interior and I've been fixing little things with it over time. It needs a new suspension and to have some oil leaks fixed, but it has good power and looks nice with a respray (not quality but good enough for me).
Black with 150k miles. I love it!

You forgot the 5th option of "Mine is currently being parted because it is a huge pile". I would have clicked on that one.

Electric man, that looks like my old car with that low miles. Did you get it from a guy in california?

Ian, do you have an ad for parts for sale?

I have a gsl-se. Original paint, engine ported and bolt-on turbo system.

Mine's pretty much skin and bones, previous owner took it from a daily driver to 1/4 mile beater so I've pretty much finished the job of stripping it and turning it into a street legal warrior. Currently getting a fully custom wiring harness to fix all mazda's flubs in designing the original system and simplifying things...she's not pretty but she weighs ~2,500lbs loaded and will always put a smile on my face

Mine isn't really 'original' and it isn't really 'restored'

I consider it, hmmm, fixed. I like it that way.

GSL-SE is the best rotary engined car Mazda has ever made....which makes it the best Mazda ever made....which makes it the best Japanese car ever made....ok maybe that's a bit of a stretch :p

I'm in the process of a restoration. I'm planning to paint the car late winter early spring. Right not it's my DD.

Mine actually goes beyond "restored", but it is a nice daily driver.

And it's for sale.

Runs, but currently off the road as NPO b/c I have too many toys.

I gotta say that 13B gave me some good years. Only busted a water seal during my last year of college.

Owned it for 17 years and still runs great @ 160K miles. Not a daily but I still drive it once or twice a week... Needs a new paint job but thats probably the biggest problem with the car.

Mine has 49K miles. I'm the second owner. Light Beige with brown leather.
I want to sell it but need to find one in perfect condition in light beige or white. Silver and black are good also.

I may never find one nicer than mine.

Where's the option for "highly modded, looks like poo, runs like a raped ape"?
I have an 84 SE, converted to carb, 50/50 mix of faded paint and primer (that almost match)....
