any chance you can scan in the picture of them? Their website as you said is not too easy to find stuff on... or a link to said wheels would be nice :)

nevermind... looking at it some more... are you just saying that they will make any of their rim styles with that special price?

Dan_s_young 04-21-08 08:34 PM

Diamond racing wheels are a pretty good choice. They are by no means a "show" rim but more focused on racing (as the name suggests). I have been thinking about getting a couple 15x12's and some MT slicks for the rear of my car for some fun.

I believe you can get them to send you a free catalog with more pictures and information. I misplaced mine around here somewhere though...

Here's what they look like. A Datsun buddy of mine has them, they're not bad looking either.

I had the Pro Series wheels in 15x7 on my old SA. They looked great.

ive got the 13x7 on my car... i would like to get something nicer after i repaint some day but i like that they are fat.

FirebirdSlayer666 04-24-08 10:41 PM

Hey Rotospeed, what size and brand tires are you running?

driftking777 04-24-08 10:45 PM

just to let everyone know, i might have missed it in the forum, but i dont think i saw it,

these wheels are 100% custom, you tell them i want X size, with X width, in X offset. and they build it. (however everything is within reason.) all very well priced...

another site that does the same thing is.... http://www.bobhindsonracinginc.com/S...BHR%20Steelies

just to help you guys out ;)

A lot of guys are using Diamond wheels. I even ordered a set myself last spring, but they lost my order and by then my wife had spent the money. :(

They make what you request. I had ordered 13x8 w/4" backspace, which is what most run in the 13" size.

2__/60 r13 i forget ill check tomorrow when i get the car back.

the brand is nanking its the only brand we could find that seams to make them. discount found them for me. :)

its the same size that people are running for scca's spec7 only in a street tire

FirebirdSlayer666 04-25-08 03:00 PM

205/60/13? I was interested in that getting that size and now I know it will lookd damn nice! LOL

Rotospeed 04-25-08 11:46 PM

yep 205/60/13. i like having that much meat on the ground.

only one guy at discount could find them everyone i talked to at all the places i called said that they dont make them. so Nanking might be your only bet. :)

Kentetsu 04-26-08 01:03 AM

I'm running Sumitomos on the stock rims. 215/50/13. They are quite a bit wider than the 205s they replaced...

FirebirdSlayer666 04-26-08 07:28 PM

Ken, any pictures of how the 50 series looks? I would like to see how the height of the sidewall changes from 60 to 50 series. I would love to go that wide but I'm putting these on my SA and then moving them to the FB once it's back on the road so I don't want to have any issues with either car

swbtm 04-27-08 12:27 PM

I have 205 60 13's on my car... the tires were made by cooper.

Here's a couple shots of the tires mounted on stock rims. These are Sumitomo 215/50/13s. I'll throw in a shot of the motor I just put in too. :)

IanS 04-27-08 03:03 PM

Nice lookin' engine. Hey, if you ever get tired of that 3 piece wing I would be happy to take it off your hands....

FirebirdSlayer666 04-27-08 06:32 PM

Looks good! I love the width but I'm not huge on that small of a sidewall on a 13" wheel. If it were a 15" it would be great

warwickben 04-27-08 06:58 PM

I'm trying to deiced between the koings and these. there only a little less then the koings.

t_g_farrell 04-28-08 08:57 AM

Just as a side note, you can get 205/60x13 in a performance/summer tire from the following manufacturers: Sumitomo, Cooper, Vredestein, and looks like Nanking.

If you want a DOT approved racing tire in that the size, then you can add Hoosier, Toyo, Kumho, etc.

swbtm 04-28-08 05:54 PM

warwaickben.... the 15x7 pro series wheels from diamond are about 90 a wheel and the konig rewinds or similar are about 125 per wheel. Unless you've found a cheeper konig dealer than the ones i've come across. Care to share?
