Okay guys so hopefully this post will get me on the road, so I have a 79 Bridgeport 12a with a Weber 48 ida, so I bought a new fpr (https://www.jegs.com/i/Speedmaster/7....1004/10002/-1) and a jegs gauge but Basically it’s flooded, I deflood it it starts it will run for about a minute then stall, so the issue is that I adjust the fpr but see no change on the gauge it just stays at like 1 1/2 I even put the old gauge on and it just stayed at 3psi, so I’m not sure if it’s getting too much fuel or not enough the float level could also be off by a small amount but I’m at a loss I’m reall not too sure what to do to keep it running.
I set the float best I could with stuff I could find to hold the needle and seat in place and flipped it over not too sure how exact the measurement is. Also I just have a 2mm needle and seat should I go up to the 3? Or am I okay with what I have?
Thanks so much I appreciate any advice I can get can answer any other questions about the car as well.

Also a vid I took from today before it died I thought it was okay then stalled

You have a few Problems . You need a 3mm needle n seat , and you need between 4-5 lbs fuel pressure to feed the webber . Also float level is very important

okay do you think i should junk the fuel pressure regulator and gauge and get a new one or do you think it will be okay? I also feel like the engine is being flooded because it will just crank when I try to start it

Sounds like you have no fuel when trying to start it, What fuel pump do you have and yes your gauges don't sound good

I’m not sure I thought it was a holly red because there was a holly fuel pressure regulator but I don’t see it mounted anywhere so I can assume it’s on in the tank but I can hear it run when the car is in the on position and it fills up the float bowl so I assumed the pump itself was ok. I changed the regulator just because it was old which I guess bit me in the ass lol but my uncle said if you can hear it just don’t touch it and I was like okay cool

The pump should be in front of rear axel on left hand side mounted to floor . A holey red should be fine if pump is working correctly..Alco check your fuel filter may be blocked
