Cell phone holders - what do you use?

What kind of cell phone holders are y'all using?

With the cellie tapped into the stereo, i have turn-by-turn navigation and streaming pandora everywhere i go! However I've got to set the phone in the passenger seat.

What sort of setups are you guys running? I'm looking for something right near the steering wheel and just below the road visibility line.

Suction cups? Drilled mounts? Whatcha got?

Pics plz

This. Been a year now, no complaints. I got it cuz it was the least bulky thing I saw. And it was among the cheapest.

There's no phone in the pic, for obvious reason.

The driver's door pull is the perfect size for my Palm Pixi.

I lay mine right in front of the shift boot. Seems to stay pretty well.

Derrick, thats what I do now, too. However, I've heard from another member that after a few years it WILL wear through the finish on the center console.

I just replaced my center console with OEM freshies, so I'm kinda OCD about ppl putting shit on it. I still do it tho.

Mostly its line-of-sight that I need. trying to move between navigation and music, or posting on my facebook feed while driving, is just too difficult with it down on the console.

(i'm just kidding about posting to facebook while driving)

Cookboy - i like that. Almost exactly the position I'm looking for.

I'm wondering if i can get some sort of a basic clamp, maybe for like a guitar neck or something, and a small thin bracket, and somehow mount it into the screw point for the defrost/wiper switch

In my SA I got a miata cup holder and a cheapie cell phone cup holder and use them together
in my console to hold my ipod and phone.

iotus, ideally it would be 1.5 inches lower, which could be achieved by cutting that out of the stalk.
But that's how you roll.

I made this one over a year ago for my original Droid, and just recently installed it. Now I don't want to upgrade my phone because it more than likely won't fit. The phone just covers the trip odometer from my view.
It's made from a rigid pvc foam board that can be glued with regular pvc glue. I forget the name, starboard maybe? I was working in a fiberglass shop in a boatyard at the time.
The bracket it's riveted to is bolted through where the nonworking dimmer was.

Cupholder

I have one of these, think I picked it up at a thrift store for $2. I'm using a Razr Max with an otterbox case and it fits ok. I'd like something that looks nicer though

I also took a center console lid, swapped it out with a Volvo one, which fit well, but I just didn't like the look and they grey wasn't right. it has cup holders in front and rear, looks like this...
