Searching for an original Hayes rotary "catch me if you can" license plate frame. Friends in WA state? PFA

 

The crossed flags remind me of the 70's Corvette's flags. I'm sure there are still some out there. Have you tried searching ebay?

 

The one pictured is not correct, just something I found on the internet. the original is sans flags and says Hayes on top. I'll keep on Ebay, but I can't even find a picture of one... I had one on my first car, which was a 79 Rx-7, about 30 years ago.

 

This seems like the perfect job for a 3D printer.

Edit: maybe you can buy a blank frame and glue on some precut letters? Just spitballing.

 

Once I get my CNC Plasma table I can make one and powder coat it.
