Car covers?
 

there seems to be a lot of choices. any company that fits better or ones to stay away from?

its kind of a rabbit hole, but a cover for indoors is different than outdoors, so you might narrow it down that way.

What I am looking for is the best fit. I suspect that a tighter fit would have less chance for buffeting in the wind. I have seen that on loose fitting covers.

Agreed, covers are designed and made for different purposes. You need to identify what you want it for. I own 9 covers, 6 of which are California Car Covers Custom Weave. These do NOT block dust but are breathable, very soft and plush to protect the finish. For my Rx-7's, I delete the mirror pockets because they are so small. They are nice and stretchy and fit fairly snug. Mine vehicles are all stored indoors, other covers / material types can also be had with draw strings to help prevent flapping while also blocking dust, rain and weather. I've heard very good things about Cover Craft brand for outdoor use.

I spy 2 SAs and one is an LE. Nice!

Buy a cheap one every 2-3 yrs or get a good one, once.

I concur with 7uall on the Covercraft Custom covers, they are pricey, but you get what you pay for. I have an indoor cover that I have been using daily since 2005 (14 years and still looks and fits great.) I also have a heavier cover I purchased in 2006 when I moved to Indianapolis from Florida when I store it for the winter months.

I have a heavy duty outdoor custom fit one from coverking that has been great and protected my car through some excessivly shitty weather. I think it was about $300 and it was completely worth it.
