Car bogs and stalls when I press the throttle

I did a carburettor rebuild on my 1984 rx7 with the 12A and it was flooding I checked the sight glass it was full the floats where in spec and the needles where sealing I did something that I have read is not recommended I messed with the floats I put them on 16mm still flooding and then to 19mm and holds idle (when gravity closed) and when they are open I adjusted from 51mm to 54mm to have the same travel now, the thing is if you press the throttle it stalls unless you hold the choke if you hold the choke closed it can rev up. The sight glass is exactly in the middle. The accelerator pump is a bit weak I will fix it but I press slowly the throttle but does the same. Also if I go to the carb and manually open the secondaries it revs up normally. Also I changed the pump because it failed and I put the one that was on it is a hep-02A which I was driving for some years prior and knew it worked it's 3-6 psi though which I have read Nikki's aren't exactly happy at that pressure. I shouldn't forget I haven't found any vacuum leaks and all the emissions things where deleted years ago before I even got the car.

Did you use new needles and seats by any chance? Also, more than 2.5-3 psi will cause flooding and running issues. I would suggest getting a regulator and adjusting it down and reset the floats at the right pressure and see how it goes. If you use new needles they can stick if not burnished because they are poorly made and have sharp edges and don't slide freely up and down as they should.

I didn't in the start but they were sticking so I was forced to change them and the flooding from the needles stopped I had the same fuel pump for years didn't have any problems before the rebuild, regulators are expensive like around 250-300€ so I don't see that as a viable option to test it I put a clamp on the fuel line and had like lower pressure visibly but still nothing. Also I cannot understand the fact that I was checking for vacuum leaks spraying brake cleaner and when I sprayed in the intake it boged down but it cannot rev without the choke it's contradicting. I bought a new carb rebuild kit an SMP because I read the walker kit that I bought previously isn't the best and some of the gaskets where indeed different I'll also buy a small ultrasonic cleaner because maybe the tubes leading to the Venturi might be clogged?? I will inform for any new updates
