Best lowering springs?
 

I'm lowering my GSL soon and I've been looking around a little bit. The racing beat springs have good reviews but 1" doesn't seem like that much of a drop. B&G has some springs with a 1.5" drop for slightly cheaper, but I haven't seen any reviews on them. Any opinions, suggestions or photos would be much appreciated.

Most lowering springs will lower less than expected because the OEM springs are old and sagging. The
RB springs when I installed them only lowered the car maybe 1/2 inch, if that. I cut a loop off an its
more like an inch now. I wouldn't want to go much lower due to clearance issues when driving and adverse
handling geometry changes to the steering.

I don't think anyone her uses B&G springs. I am actually interested in them and there was someone here last year that was going to try them and give a review, but it looks like he has not logged in, in over 8 months. Like many of us, real life probably got in the way of his project.

Since most people say that due to sagging springs you probably will not get much of a drop, for appearance purposes, I am leaning towards B&G. My concern would be quality. One thing with Racing Beat is you know you are getting a quality product from a company that has been involved with the rotary community almost since the beginning.

I am also concerned with quality. I think I'm just going to B&G and hope for the best. Its not a track car so I'm not too worried about handling.

B&G Springs. I'm happy with them. Car is noticeably more stable than with the stock springs, but not harsh in the slightest. They're supposedly 25% stiffer than stock, and progressive rate.

Oh sweet! What shocks do you have with the springs if I may ask?

Just wondering, due to the fact the old springs can sag, did you record how much the springs lowered your car? What size wheel/tire combo are you running?

I didn't measure the drop, but it certainly leveled the ride height. With the stock springs, the rear sagged a bit, and the front was really high. My visual estimate would be an overall drop of about 1.25 inches.

The wheels/tires are 15x8 - 195/50
