Am so stupid glove inside rotor housing

well I decided to put some 2 stroke down my speak plug holes and turn over the engine since it been sitting for 3 years I was told and I stuck gloves into the exhaust ports while storing it In my garage so nothing would go up there well my father forgot and I think a glove might have went into the housing i spinnef the rotor and looked inside ain’t see nothing but to my surprise the engine that I thought was rebuilt and looked great inside had rust on the rotors and didn’t look to new inside and the speak plugs had rust on them so worst case scenario I’ll have to rebuild the whole engine correct ? https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...4384fe881.jpeg

If you didn't do this routinely, like every month during that 3 years, I 'm not surprised. How to the housing surfaces look? Rust on the rotors is not a deal breaker, the important part is the seals and the housing surface and the irons surfaces. If the seals look ok and the surfaces they work against look good, I'd install it and crank it up to see how it fairs.

Is it recommended to turn an engine by hand at least once a month? I have my 13b semi pp that I pulled out of my old car on Feb this year with like 20k miles. I have it covered up and haven't touched it.
