drdode 11-16-11 09:44 AM

thanks dude...

that's really nice! its original, and garage kept, you can't duplicate that... the new one must be a knockout if you got rid of this one!

thanks, but they are both a knockout however the old one was in very new condition..not that this last one wasn't garaged kept as well, but I believe the old one was a little bit more original...I sold the silver one cause I got $16,400 for it so I couldn't not sell it when I bought it for $7000

drdode 11-16-11 06:26 PM

plus my older one had mint condition leather seats, so if I had to pick between the two I'd have to go with the older(silver) one..but oh well I made some good money on it at least

wesmcbride 11-16-11 07:00 PM

Where did you sell it for $16,400???? No wonder you sold it. What did the engine bay look like?

datsun1200 11-16-11 07:58 PM

now you can get another on and still have money in your poket....sad and great that is gone....but i would be sad....

Amazingly clean car, probably the best SE I've ever seen.

I thought mine was clean but you have/had me beat. I bought my 84 SE last year, same silver/burgundy color combo all original with 84K on it.

Glad to see hear that someone was willing to pay you for that car. :icon_tup:

thanks mann. the knob that tilts the sunroof still had the factory plastic film that protects it and interior still had a new car scent in it

mazdaverx713b 11-24-11 05:17 AM

you can't duplicate that factory new car smell. i had a sunbeam silver 85 GSL a couple years back with 55K original miles that was garage kept. it smelled new inside. never had another 7 that smelled anywhere close to that.

yupp this it true, my blue one also smells somewhat new but not as much as my silver one with the leather interior
