have a set of second gen wheels for my gsl-se but would like to know if their widths are the same, thanks.

EvilWankel 02-22-10 02:55 AM

Not sure but my buddy has phone dials on his gsl-se without issues.

they are same size

mazdaverx713b 02-22-10 09:24 AM

the phone dials are ugly on the SE if you ask me. same bolt pattern just a shade narrower of a wheel.

thunkrd 02-22-10 10:47 AM

they are both 5.5...

only thing it looks cool on is a rally car

When I bought my FC, that's the very first thing I changed, those gawdawful phone dials. I did find a use for them. A friend of mine borrowed them for his SE so he could practice drifting and burnouts. They came back showing the cords.

thunkrd 02-22-10 03:05 PM

awesome!

Well, if you saw what was on it before that you'd understand :)

TainoCo 02-22-10 06:52 PM

LOL, very funny guys read all of it thanks for your opinions on the "Phone Dial" lol. Just asking cause I auto-x with street tires but want a set of wheels with slicks for dry pavement and street when about to rain or raining lol phone dials why didnt I think of that lol.

trochoid 03-04-10 02:40 PM

They are called phone dials because of the old 'rotary' dial phones that predated the push button ones. They fit the rear fine, never tried them on the front.

eprx799 03-04-10 04:21 PM

I ran a set of phone dials on my GSL-SE for my autox tires they fit just fine. btw I like the way they looked on the se.

thunkrd 03-05-10 02:06 AM

sorry but stock sizing sucks, way too skinny

eprx799 03-05-10 03:43 PM

I need stock size to run in stock class in autox. phone dial wheels were my cheapest option.

TainoCo 03-05-10 06:25 PM

LOL understood the phone dial which is why had the rotating loughing face added on lol am not looking to drive around with those wheels but to race and like "eprx799" said above would like to stay in my class without getting bumped to another even though am in "SSM" lol but anyhow you get the point. lol

thunkrd 03-05-10 06:29 PM

ssm? i think i'd upgrade to wider wheels
