Joseph's pretty CB series Mazda 626 defines the genera (ie, it needs to have a Nikki and be Old): http://i764.photobucket.com/albums/x...x7/joseph2.jpg http://i764.photobucket.com/albums/x...x7/joseph1.jpg http://i764.photobucket.com/albums/x...rx7/joseph.jpg Here's the SA's, well represented by Robert's white '78 and Gene's blue '80, with twin Weber's and Hawley's, of course: http://i764.photobucket.com/albums/x...x7/gene1-1.jpg http://i764.photobucket.com/albums/x...x7/gene2-1.jpg |

Nice photos Ray. I think you guys have collected every dual weber setup left in existence. :D Those are pretty rare, and it's odd to see that many of them together in one spot. Do you have any more pictures of that old school 626? That's cool! I like that one a lot, even if it doesn't have a 12A in it.

The CB series Mazda 626 doesn't have a 12A in it yet, but it does have a Nikki in there ready to go. Last night we talked Joseph into lifting up the Nikki, pulling the boinger out from underneath and inserting a 12A. Should have it in a month or two. The car is absolutely beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice.
True, we are cornering the market on dual Webers down here, it's the latest trend. For a long time Jeremy's RX-2 was the only one with them but then Robert showed up with his white SA with Webers and once folks saw what they do for a first gen people started snatching them up. (But I still like my Nikki better). |
Always looks like a good time, too bad GA is so far away!
|
Not that far from New Jersey, come on down.

As always Ray, a good turnout. I'm glad to see the dedication that your crew shows. I need to get down there again and catch up with you guys :D
