Sorry if I'm late to this party, but these seem very much "in the spirit of"

What about using a GSLSE drivetrain? I know there is a difference, but haven't committed it to memory yet.

The 40mm offset is perfect for the GSL-SE, as I'm running 38mm offset on my current wheels (15x6.5), and would likely land about the same place in terms of clearance. Remember that the -SE has bolt lug pattern of 4x114.3, as well.
Are those available in the US at a reasonable price? I'd run those on my car in a second. Nice find,

Oe SE wheels are 14x5.5 +40mm offset. A 15x7 +40mm offset on an SE or Fb converted to SE specs will have wheel/tire contact on either spring/perch. This wheel with @+33mm offset will allow a 205/50/15 or 205/55/15 tire to fit front and back with no clearance issues even on about 1" suspension drop all around and all tire within fenderwell without rolling of fenderlips. After LOTS of research-lots of inaccurate/incomplete info on this site and others,i arrived at this figure and had wheels made for my SE to this spec. Can post pics of installed tire/wheel combo if desired. Wheel op is showing will need a 1/4" spacer to come close to this,i'm not personally a fan of spacers though others seem to have no problems with them.

It also seems that these are a euro market item as of now.

I can take a measurement of a SA (drums)axle and a SE axle tomorrow.

KansasCityREPU,i believe the axle housing is same for GSL/SE. SE axle is 19mm longer due to larger.wider ventilated rotor. +20 wheel with a 205/50/15 tire mounted may likely encounter some fenderlip contact. A more round tire sidewall profile can minimize this. Little confused by your post as you state you bought wheels in 4x110mm and SE axle has 4x114.3mm pattern-unless axles were redrilled...

Will be good for a gsl-se or gsl-se swapped car, but will need spacers to run on a 4x110 car I think.
I am running Rota Mesh OS in 15x7 +20.
This is ideal fitment for the 4x110 application.
I will post pics tonight, the Rota Mesh look awesome and oldschool on our cars. They were very easy to get also.

Here is my car, 15x7 +20mm Rota Mesh OS on an FB GS. Lowered on Stance Coils. 195/50 F and 205/50 R.
15x7+20 is pretty good fitment and can be tweaked slightly with 3mm or 5mm spacers without worrying about sketchy adapter spacers etc.
My wheel choice following a GSL-SE and brake upgrade conversion is Work Equip 03's but I am having difficulty confirming clearance with FC 4 piston calipers.
After looking so long to find proper fitment 4x110 it now seems even harder to find proper fitment 4x114.3, Who knew.

let it be noted that 15x7 with a +20mm offset is safe to use on the standard FB (non GSL-SE) setup.

hello guys,
im borrowing this thread a little bit instead of posting a new one, if thats ok.
i have a -85 GSL (4x114.3) that i want to get another set of wheels for. my friend has a set of OZ TURBO that is 15x7 ET15, but the problem is that they are 4x100 so i will need to get conversion spacers. is there any way this will work on my car without fenderflares? i think the conversion spacers are around 10mm wide.

Hello.
It has 4x114.3 i have measured it. I really dont know if its a gsl or gsl-se because in sweden its only labeled as a RX7.
But i think the oz wheels are going to be too far out. Anyone has any tip on where to find retro wheels like ssr, work,oz etc?
Have a nice day!
