J-AUTO pillow ball kit - Made in the U.S.A!

J-AUTO upgraded pillow ***** for 1993+ Mazda RX-7s are finally here! Completely made in the U.S.A. using American steel and top shelf motorsports grade teflon lined spherical bearings for long lasting operation. Your FD's rear end will feel more accurate and tighter giving you an awesome ride around town and great handling out on the track!

J-AUTO pillow ***** can be rebuilt by replacing the spherical bearing within for a fraction of the cost of the original bushing set. Not only are these initially cheaper than OEM bushings, but they're cheaper to own in the long run! These are direct replacements for original Mazda pillow ***** and are compatible with original pillow ball dust seals for an extra layer of protection.

Limited time introductory offer starting at $310 per kit (6 bushings).

Get yours at www.j-auto.net

Need these installed? Quick, same day service is available.

Nice to see this continued development. So do these install and function the same as stock? What are the replacement bearing costs?

Thank you! These are direct replacements for stock pillow *****. They install just like the stock ones do, work with factory pillow ball dust seals, and don't require any modifications to your car in order to use these. These pillow ***** press in/out just like original Mazda pillow *****. Replacement bearings will be roughly $100 for a set of 6 but these are not listed on my website yet.

Is the longevity of this bushing similar to the Mazda OE part?

I've had the prototypes on my FD since the beginning of the year without issues. My FD gets used as a daily driver and also gets driven on the track. Although they've been working well on my car, these haven't been out in the wild long enough for me to honestly say these will last X times longer than OE pillow *****. With that said, the bearings used on my pillow ***** have been successfully used on other suspension components, on RX-7s and other makes, for many years and I'm confident these pillow ***** will work just as well.

You can check these out at Sevenstock if you're attending. I won't have a booth this year but will bring these with me to show people whenever I'm not out on the track. A few people running these will be at Sevenstock and am sure they'll be happy to give you honest, non-biased answers to whatever questions you may have about these bushings.

If you're on Facebook, like my page: www.facebook.com/jauto to get updates on existing products and see what others are saying about these pillow *****.

Not at this time. I believe you're the first person to ever ask about non-teflon lined bearings.

This sale is good until this first batch of bushings runs out. I still have a few sets left so you should be good if you order Friday

Can we rebuild these bushings at home or do they have to be sent in to you?

Doubt it. These are FD specific.

You can easily rebuild these at home with whatever tool you use to remove the pillow ball bushings, from the control arms, to replace the bearings within the pillow ball bushings. Having access to a press makes this task a whole lot easier. Clear instructions will be provided to help you press in/out these bushings and shows how to replace the bearings.

Just placed an order for a couple of the new style bushings :]

Do these come greased like the OE bushings or do they not require any?

Telfon bearings do not require grease, applying grease will reduce it's usage life.

Why does Mazda use grease on the original parts?

The original Mazda bushings are not teflon lined and were designed to be greased. Like rlee429 said, greasing teflon lined bearings will gunk them up and shorten their life. It's important not to get grease or any other lubricant on my pillow ball's spherical bearing.
